The Hongik University College of Architecture & Urban Planning has been cultivating creative and visionary architects and urban designers for 70 years. In 2024, to commemorate this milestone, a series of exhibitions were held to celebrate the legacy, achievements, and future direction of Hongik Architecture. These exhibitions bring together works from alumni and graduating students, showcasing a dynamic interplay between tradition and innovation through academic research and practical design exploration.

The 2024 exhibitions set a new attendance record, welcoming over 5,000 visitors over five days, with a peak of 2,000 attendees in a single day. The events attracted a diverse audience, including alumni, faculty, industry professionals, and media representatives, further reinforcing Hongik Architecture’s influence in the field. Held across multiple venues, including the Mun Heon Hall and Hong Mun Hall, the exhibitions were designed to ensure optimal spatial organization and accessibility. Additionally, leading architecture firms such as Samoo, Junglim, Haenglim, GLUCK, and Hyundai Construction provided sponsorship and industry support, fostering valuable networking opportunities between graduates and professionals.
